• Be sure to take as many photographs of the interior and exterior of the property as possible


• Take photographs and make a list of any damaged items the list should include make, model numbers/serial numbers, where purchased and cost


• If it is safe to do so remove any valuable and/or sentimental items to a safe location together with important documents ie. Insurance documents, birth certificates, driving license’s etc
